It is full of witty characters who you will fall in love with, deliciously hot romance and plenty of twists and turns you never see coming. Especially one with a large fan base. But hey, all couples have their stumbling blocks, right? And Georgina Kincaid caters to a slightly more mature audience. The concept is interesting, and this might be as far as I can remember my first ever read with a succubus as a main character. How feisty you where. Lol, I know that maybe doesn't make much sense. Except for that detail about her, Georgina is a charismatic and easy going woman that works in a library.

The succbus stepped closer, dark eyes boring into me. Troubled by the scrutiny, I glanced back down and discovered I finally had a respectable hand after several rounds of shit.
richele Is there anything similar to the Georgina Kincaid series? Also I didn't find that this book made me "feel" very strongly. Having said that, I think it's necessary to keep any kind of romance intriguing over 6 full-length novels.
Now, the fact that angels, demons and vampires acknowledge each other's existence and live in ''harmony'' without contantly wanting to sucfubus each other out is new to me. Hot heroine with at least one guy on every finger.

I felt like fainting dramatically on both occasions. In a room full of vampires, I would have been able to quickly determine if Cody or Peter were present. I liked her dorky details and the sharp wit that held in check a painful past.
It makes no difference. I was bored by the lack of world-building, totally bored. Sex with him would be out of the question. The spurned or not chosen guy for the moment had some truly awkward scenes where his pain was evident.

What was unique about this book — at least for me — is rarely is the female protagonist the tortured character. The character of Georgina Kincaid is on the list for one of the more likable female protagonists so far.
It's engaging, witty, filled to the brim with tension and easy enough to read that my eyes stayed glued to the page without anything breaking the flow. It was really odd. Because it's so good, and there's only one chance to read ricnelle book for the first time, and I want it to last.
The amount of races and characters in the book sort of threw me a bit, as well as Georgie's profession, but I adjusted after a while and got into the swing of things. I feel like I should write a proper review for this book succubis it's one of my favourites. Oodles of it in these books.
